Esther Veras

Analyst

Esther brings over 15 years of experience supporting a wide range of NASA programs to her role at AVISTA. She plays a key role in capture and business development efforts across the GovCon and BizTrans divisions, identifying strategic opportunities and facilitating partnerships between prime contractors and subcontractors. Her expertise spans beyond NASA, with involvement in the Army’s Expedited Professional and Engineering Support Services (EXPRESS) Open Season, as well as business development initiatives with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and the General Services Administration (GSA). Esther has successfully supported both large and small government contractors and is fluent in English and Spanish. Prior to joining AVISTA, Esther was instrumental in NASA’s Mentor-Protégé Program and supported the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) Small Business Office.

She holds a Master of Business Administration in Acquisition and Contracts Management from Florida Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems with a Management minor from Oakwood University.

Outside of work, Esther enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and serving her community.
