Analyst

Susan assists clients during Army’s Expedited Professional and Engineering Support Services (EXPRESS) program Open Season and also helps clients prepare One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Plus (OASIS+) proposals. She primarily works in AVISTA’s GSAide division, providing support to clients submitting GSA Multiple Award Schedule offers. She also assists with AVISTA’s internal bookkeeping tasks.

Susan graduated from The University of Alabama in 1998 with a degree in Chemical Engineering and received her minor from UA’s Computer-Based Honors Program (renamed The Randall Research Scholars Program) and was a Presidential Scholarship and Computer-Based Honors Fellowship recipient.

Prior to joining AVISTA, Susan was a High School Science Coach for Madison City Schools as part of a federal science grant. There she worked alongside the teachers in chemistry classrooms at Bob Jones and James Clemens high schools to identify and assist struggling students. Prior to that, Susan worked for Shell Deepwater as a Subsea Systems Engineer.

Susan enjoys living in her hometown of Madison, Alabama and has been married to her husband, Chris, for 26 years. They have 3 daughters: 1 in high school and 2 attending college at the University of Alabama. Susan loves kids and music, and she directed the preschool choir at her church for almost 15 years.
